(26 June 2026) It is now 10 pm MST June 26, or, 4 AM GMT, June 27. We have been watching events centered on Iran and its regime, waiting for escalation of what looks to be the Second Signpost.
The Strait of Hormuz was closed solidly for 112 days. It has now been open for six days, more or less.
We are getting mixed signals about whether the Strait is indeed open or closed. The regime could very well be using all these issues (e.g. the uranium, reparations, etc.) as tricks to buy time for posturing for the next phase of the war.

Some physics humor here. Like Schrodinger’s cat in which we don’t know if the cat is dead or alive, we don’t know if Schrodinger’s Strait of Hormuz is open or closed.
Yesterday, everyone thought the Strait of Hormuz might be open. Then, the IRGC attacked a Singaporean cargo ship. Then, the US attacked positions in Iran, and supposedly the Strait is open.
During the last few days, fertilizer shipments have been sent through the Strait. Of course, this fertilizer is too late for the current growing season, but at least it’s available for next growing season.
Conclusion
At any given moment we can’t tell if the Strait is open or closed.
However, that is not the big picture. I believe it is only a red herring, i.e. a diversion. The big picture is the escalation to the second part of this Signpost. That would be the IRGC destroying the rest of the Arab oil infrastructure, and boots on the ground being sent out to conquer and occupy the Middle East Muslim nations.
Coming famine is still baked in.
Misery still besets the lives of millions in Southeast Asia.
Fuel shortages are still coming later this summer and fall.
Keep watch.
