A Whisper of the Fourth Signpost and Gog War

(27 June 2026) Middleeasteye.net reports something Israeli Minister of Diaspora Affairs Amichai Chikli said, that should remind Signpost watchers of both the Fourth Signpost, and the eventual invasion by Antichrist/Gog of the land of Israel during the seventieth week.

Chikli’s Insight Into Turkey and Syria

Chikli said, “Turkiye of Erdogan and Syria of al-Sharaa are now far more concerning than Iran.”

Very interesting.

According to Signpost theory, Iran will not conquer Israel, neither during the Second Signpost or at any time.

Now, again according to Signpost theory the Antichrist will rule from his home base of “New Turkey” as shown in Figure 12-2 of Daniel Revisited, pictured below, during the Fourth Signpost.

The man who will be Antichrist will take over “New Turkey” and his power will grow to the south and to the east. This man and his originating nation will be the greatest threat to Israel, per Ezekiel 38.

Figure 12-2 from Daniel Revisited shows the three new nations in bold borders (which are the three uprooted horns of the fourth beast) that will exist during the Fourth Signpost. These will be borne out of the four-fold fracture of the one great nation of the Third Signpost.

The speculated new nation of “New Turkey” in Figure 12-2, according to Signpost theory, is the originating nation of the future Antichrist. It will consist of both Turkey and Syria as they exist today, as well as some additional territory.

Antichrist will take that new nation, with nine others of the Islamic Realm and attack Israel, invading Jerusalem in the middle of the Tribulation.

Chikli’s Premature Comment

Chikli then added, “The era of Shiite empire of Iran, Assad’s Syria and Hezbollah is over.”

Not quite.

The “Shiite empire of Iran” will expand over much of the Middle East, and then will be ended by Turkey and Syria during the Third Signpost. So it’s not over yet.
