(29 July 2026) It is now 8 pm MST July 29, or, 2 AM GMT, July 30. We have been watching events centered on Iran and its regime, waiting for escalation of what looks to be the Second Signpost. We have been watching since February 28.
The Strait of Hormuz has been closed for 151 days. That is over five months.
Daniel Revisited, pp 201-202 Coming True
Daniel Revisited, chapter 10, on pp 201-202 (Thomas-Nelson edition), says:
“The Bible says the ram will be free to do as it pleases to the north, south, and west of Susa. Regretfully Daniel 8:4 says, “No animal could stand against him, and none could rescue from his power.” The nations surrounding Iran will not stand, and forces caught in the ensuing melee will not be rescued. I have heard many times that the United States would never allow Iran to successfully invade the Middle East. But, the Bible says what it says, unfortunately in this case. Anyone who tries to stop Iran will fail.”
Yes, unfortunately.
The Unfolding Reality
We witnessed at the end of February a sitting US president actually trigger the conditions for what looks like the Second Signpost being set up to start. And the war has not had the effect on the Iranian regime that the US administration had hoped for.
Alistair Crooke (who has appeared on YouTube channels such as Deep Dive) wrote a piece titled The War’s Back is Broken.
The tagline at top is the following:
“The U.S. ultimately will have to capitulate, with the result that Iran becomes a regional power.”
Daniel 8:3 says of the Persian Ram, “He did as he pleased and became great.”
To that end, Crooke writes at the end in summary,
“The U.S. has lost the war. By adopting such uncompromising Manichaean language, Trump effectively has severed himself from any prospective diplomatic solution. By widening the war (Lebanon, Yemen, Syria and Iraq) he has severely complicated any diplomatic track. All elements are interrelated, yet they also have separate agendas. Thus a solution involves a complex matrix of issues, rather than a binary dispute between the U.S. and Iran alone. The U.S. ultimately will have to capitulate, with the result that Iran becomes a regional power (strengthening Russia and China), whilst the Region slowly will come to terms with this new West Asian reality.”
Crooke’s article is not fiction. If you’ve been reading this website for the last few months, you’ve seen analyst after analyst peel back the onion to show that the US has been defeated, and Iran has won.
This “new West Asian reality” he speaks of will include the finishing of the Second Signpost, and then the Third and Fourth.
Conclusion
At this point in time, what was held as impossible by most Americans has happened: it looks like the US has actually lost the war.
Further attempts by the US to try to reverse what is happening is going on right now as the US attacks Iran.
Iran gained control of the Strait of Hormuz, choking off one-fifth of the world’s oil, and can strike US bases and oil infrastructure in the region at will, and there is nothing the US can do about it short of nuclear war or an American invasion involving one million men.
Daniel Revisited says, repeating from the top of this post, “Anyone who tries to stop Iran will fail.”
So far, the US has failed. Yes, the US would never allow Iran to invade, but they failed to knock Iran down.
All that’s left is for the US to run out of ammo, or withdraw due to whatever reason (WW3, loss of economic power), or to be catastrophically defeated such as missiles taking out US warships.
Also, some time in August and September, we should expect supply line breakdown and fuel shortages.
My hope is you all who know the Signposts will inform your churches and communities of what is happening.
Keep watch, and prepare.

Unfortunately, what you describe is a common way of people refusing to admit that they trusted the wrong person / party / regime. Refusing this against all the news pointing to the opposite is called Denial. People only want to believe what they hope, and for this reason are very susceptible to propaganda.
Nearing the end of WWII the nazi’s increasingly trusted Hitler’s genius and the hidden secret weapon he was supposed to have, and wondered ever more why the Fuehrer did not take his gloves off.
It is exactly what Russian military bloggers already write for years, again and again, since a week or so after the Russian invasion: Why is president Putin so soft? Why does he not just vanquish Ukraine? Why doesn’t he takes his gloves off? Why does he not just wrap things up in Ukraine?
Answer: people did/do not want to believe that Hitler and Putin and Trump already took their gloves off long ago but failed nevertheless, or are in the process of failing: it is the fists themselves that are found wanting.
Of course Hitler had no nukes, while Putin and Trump have them.
But if Putin uses those, Ukraine and Europe will not immediately give in and surrender because surrender would mean the end of their independence and freedoms; they fight for the “-isms” they believe in, such as nationalism and democracy.
And if Trump uses nukes it will not lead to Iran’s surrender because even very big nukes will not be enough to destroy the underground missile-and-drone cities, as Canadian Prepper talked about some time ago. And even more because the faith the Iranian regime & IRGC adhere to is very strong, way stronger than the European faith in its “-isms”.

Adamant: When I talk to brothers and sisters about SPT I feel like I’m taking away from them a child’s favorite toy. I wish people would stop for a second and think: Do American Christians ACTUALLY believe that we can stop the rise of the Anti-Christ?
I just had a short conversation with a lady at church who was very uncomfortable when I expressed my view that Daniel 8 is being fulfilled now. Her response? “Let’s just keep praying”. I followed up yesterday with an email further explaining my position. “Of course I’m not against prayer, but Daniel 8 says…..”.
Many of these brethren are people I would trust with the keys to my car & apartment, my checkbook with signed blank checks, etc. But I can’t break through this barrier of them not even considering that Daniel 8 is NOW.

Wow – Christians thinking that you can stop that is a new thing to me. At least in Europe I have not yet encountered this belief.
It seems that these people, like the Israeli’s, believe so much in military strength that it blinds them to some other things.
Maybe wishful thinking is behind this too, like “God will not allow that we lose our prosperity and personal freedom, will not allow that we will suffer on a grand scale…”
Adamant: I should have been more clear. They didn’t say these words. What I was saying is that taking their thinking to its logical conclusion the U.S., if it never lost a war and we were a global power, would prevent the rise of Anti-Christ. Since scripture says of the AC “who can make war against the beast” the U.S. must either be defeated or pull out of the easter hemisphere. I don’t see believers ever thinking about this. A false pre-trib rapure hope gets them out of this dilemma: we never lose, “we’re not around here for that”, the beast takes over. Bad theology has bad logical outcomes. I have been praying in both of Trump’s terms that God would open the president’s eyes to this and that he would pull out of the Middle East. My prayers were not answered in the affirmative.
