(30 July 2026) It is now 9 pm MST July 30, or, 3 AM GMT, July 31. We have been watching events centered on Iran and its regime, waiting for escalation of what looks to be the Second Signpost. We have been watching since February 28.
The Strait of Hormuz has been closed for 152 days.
This video from Deep Dive is rather disturbing. The interviewee provides some good reasons as to why the Persian Ram might just pull off a direct military defeat of the US in the Middle East. And if it does, there are some thoughts as to what that would mean for US reputation and US allies around the world.

I don’t think the word “disobeyed” is apt here; more like “disregarded” that which is prudent, or perhaps relied on others to count the cost.
