Davidson on Pastor Vincent Xavier’s Podcast

(8 August 2026) It is now 9 pm MST August 8, or, 3 AM GMT, August 9. We have been watching events centered on Iran and its regime, waiting for escalation of what looks to be the Second Signpost. We have been watching since February 28.

The Strait of Hormuz has been closed for 161 days.

Interview

Pastor Vincent Xavier had me on his Watchmen podcast the morning of Friday, August 7. We had a good visit and talk, and caught up with the most recent developments of the Second Signpost.

As always keep watch.

  1. loved the pod cast now for a Christian realest question. Please answer in faith of our lord Jesus the christ. I understand since you live on a country environment with less population (environment effects everything including thinking)with your understanding of the gospel and how the world has changed and if you lived in a environment where there are 10s of thousands of people that say that are Christian were crosses and live like demons and teen take overs are a norm the roads are like madmax how do respond to your neighbor in need when all it takes is a social media text from someone who received BLESSINGS of substance from you to others that are going crazy with hunger?

  2. Bill,
From what I think you may be saying, the takeaway for me is what to do if someone you help shouts out to others (by any means – social media or even word of mouth) that you were the source of their help. Its interesting you bring this up because it was only yesterday I witnessed this kind of human behavior first hand at a park in the heat of the day. Here are some thoughts that come to mind about your scenario – –
    1) I don’t live in a completely rural environment because to the north and south of me – a few miles either way – are cities of between 50,000 and 100,000. I would expect people from these cities to show up in roving bands 2 to 4 weeks after SHTF.
    2) This won’t help you or others in a city environment, but I lived in a major metro area of millions of people and managed to escape and get out about 13 years ago as I was writing Daniel Revisited. I cannot even manage the situations in big cities – especially those who depend so heavily on a complicated infrastructure just for water, like Phoenix and Las Vegas. These Christians will be depending completely upon God from the very beginning.
    3) We here at our location may very well be mobbed and everything taken, but we can only depend on God for our sustenance after that.
    4) We are believers in the 2A, so if people show up just hungry asking for handouts that’s one thing, but if they are armed and threatening to kill you and your family we might have to respond a different way. Only God knows. Personally, I have no idea how I might react because the situations could be very different. We must resolve in the way we would react ahead of time, like now. I do take Matthew 25:31-46 literally.
    5) We must totally trust in God to deliver us from evil, but we are to partner with Him to try to reach the lost.
Regarding the person helped who might shout out, I would remind all persons not to do so, because the food available to them now will be taken away by the very crowd he is calling out to. It might make them think twice.
Bottomline – Let’s face it – we all will be totally dependent on God, per Matthew 6:33 and Philippians 4:6, either immediately upon SHTF, or a few weeks later or a few years later. But at some point your storage will run out. It is better to run out sooner and be obedience, rather than later and not be obedient.
    Does this help?

  3. Bill,
Another thought is that if you have surrendered to Christ, live for Him, died to self, are led by the Holy Spirit, then all we can do, all we are supposed to do, is trust Him for provision. What else can you do?
The places that make me shutter when the Second Signpost is being fully expressed are places like LA, NYC, Chicago, Phoenix, Las Vegas, Hawaii, and the Florida peninsula. Places like that have the highest density of people supported by alot of infrastructure that will likely result in the highest mortality rates. This is consistent with what I suggest to people – try to get out of the big cities now if you can.

  4. Thank thank you and BLESSINGS to you and yours.
