(2 September 2026) We have been watching events centered on Iran and its regime, waiting for escalation of what looks to be the Second Signpost.
We have been watching since February 28. The Strait of Hormuz was mostly closed from March 2 to August 23 or so, being about 175 days. The Strait was sporadically open, and is now basically closed due to reports that Iran is laying mines in the Strait again.
Dan Davis on his channel interviews a journalist and they discuss where the Iran War is at right now.
Some highlights are as follows.
At time 03:31, Iran continues to have an active and potent arsenal.
At time 05:31, President Trump’s “no one is going to mess with us” is obviously not true since Iran is standing up to the IS and “messing” with them.
At time 05:49, it is shown that the consequences of this war are indeed major in terms of its consequences.
At time 10:00, an article from the Navy Times is shown stating that the Navy will not be going back to its Bahrain base any time in the near future. I didn’t realize this either, but some of these bases had deployed soldiers’ families with them, and so thousands of family members had to deploy immediately and left all their worldly possessions behind.
The article goes on to say,
“The more we learn about the attacks on the U.S. Naval Support Activity in Manama, Bahrain, during the opening days of Operation Epic Fury, the clearer it becomes why the news of its near destruction was not initially reported or acknowledged.”
At time 11:57, it is reported that Russia has openly stated they are proving Iran with weapons and equipment. Those talking said it seems fair since the West supplies equipment and weapons to Ukraine against Russia.
At time 14:21, the interviewee says, “Iran is emerging as an important regional power out of this.”
Sounds like Daniel 8:4, doesn’t it?
Finally, at time 29:16, it is stated,
“This war was a colossal error. It was launched on false pretenses, and it is a war that has put the entire world at risk of great consequence.”
Conclusion
This video provides a good snapshot of where the war is at.
Iran is not only continuing to hit targets, it is becoming a great power.
The US military has been forced out of the immediate region, which is a set up for another part of Daniel 8:4 (“no one could rescue from his power”).
Yes, this war was a colossal mistake, as the Trump administration seems to have launched the Second Signpost, and therefore the coming of Antichrist, and the Tribulation.
