Trump Talking With Aides About Ending Iran War

(3 September 2026) We have been watching events centered on Iran and its regime, waiting for escalation of what looks to be the Second Signpost.

We have been watching since February 28. The Strait of Hormuz was mostly closed from March 2 to August 23 or so, being about 175 days. The Strait was sporadically open, and is now basically closed due to reports that Iran is laying mines in the Strait again.

Trump Thinking of Ending Iran War

This Newsmax story reports that President Trump is discussing with aides the end of the Iran War.

The article goes on to say that Trump favors ending the war because US military dominance has put the US in a winning position.

This whole idea of ending the war is doomed since the reality of the war will go against Trump’s perceptions of the US being in “a winning position”.

Conclusion

There are three alternatives moving forward for the US right now regarding Iran. The first is the status quo. The second is a ground invasion of Iran that would require one million soldiers and a return of the draft.

The third is US withdrawal. Though the world and the US administration don’t know this, the Second signpost is looming. God’s Word, I believe, says it will happen.

Therefore there is nothing that can be done to stop it. Therefore the best move for the US in terms of least resistance and least damage is to walk away.

At some point the Iran War will evolve in the Second Signpost in which the US under any circumstance will not stop the Iranian regime from getting to do all it wants to do.

We just don’t know when that will happen and under what circumstance.
