(9 September 2026) We have been watching events centered on Iran and its regime, waiting for escalation of what looks to be the Second Signpost.
We have been watching since February 28. The Strait of Hormuz was mostly closed from March 2 to August 23 or so, being about 175 days. The Strait was sporadically open, and is now basically closed, although there are rumors of oil tankers getting through.
The Petrodollar
The petrodollar was an agreement between the US and the Mideast oil countries. The oil nations would sell all their oil only in US dollars in exchange for US military protection of Arab oil countries.
Saudi Arabia and other oil nations starting selling their oil in other currencies, such as the Chinese Yuan, starting last year.
And now the US cannot defend the oil nations.
Two Videos
Two videos summarize the US military’s failure to defend its Arab oil allies.
In this Dan Davis livestream titled, The Dangerous Myth of America’s Military Advantage is Collapsing, the point is made that the US can no longer project power to support land invasions halfway around the world, time 07:13 to 12:18.
The rest of the world has developed weapons that undo the superiority of aircraft carriers and fighter jets. The guest states,
“The NATO/Russia and US/Iran Wars show that because US NATO are no longer able to confidently to secure air superiority and sea control their capacity successfully to project power in the world is now severely reduced and then the big part the consequent force structure implications are profound and it is unlikely that this situation will change markedly in anything less than 10 years.”
It takes many years to develop new strategies, and new weapons systems. Ten years is conservative.
In this second video from Breaking Points, two former generals talk about how America is not coming back to its bases in the Middle East. Retired General Petraeus makes it clear the US bases in the Mideast are no longer useable.
The US Navy even has a hard time trying to keep supplied from the base at Diego Garcia 2,200 miles away.
Conclusion
What we are seeing in slow motion, I believe, is the withdrawal of US military forces from the Middle East. This of course will allow the IRGC and Basij—the Persian Ram—to run out across the Middle East, and do what the Ram wants to do.
This is truly amazing. Ask an American ten years ago, or even one year ago, if this was possible.

It was about people like yourself chosen by God to deliver a message that is not being readily accepted by the Christian community. I think it will spur you on.
