(20 September 2026) After so many years of watching for the coming of the Second Signpost, it has arrived. The first attack taking out 5 percent of the world’s oil availability happened last weekend on September 11.

The run out could be in danger from the remaining fighter aircraft the US has in the region. Most of them would be on the USS George Washington in the Arabian Sea.
October Surprise Possibility #1
To take out the US fighter aircraft would be to take out America’s aircraft carrier, the USS George Washington.
To this end, the regime just announced that in addition to taking out the Arab oil facilities, if the US attacked Iran, Iran has threatened to take out US ships not only in the Arabian Sea, but also in the Indian Ocean.
Personally, I doubt Iran could do that, but taking out a ship in the relatively near Arabian Sea using a hypersonic cruise missile could be possible. If it were to happen, it would be the first time since WW2 that the US lost a carrier.
Any invasion by Iran could follow taking out the carrier.
October Surprise Possibility #2
Just to look at more possibilities, Professor Robert Pape thinks the regime will detonate a nuclear weapon.
While a possibility, I don’t think this would happen. I could be wrong, but I believe Iran has been merely talking nukes to get the US to attack.
Conclusion
The chance for any October Surprise by Iran is very possible.
For now, I’m sticking with the scenario of (1) taking out the Arab oil, (2) taking out the fighter aircraft via carrier and then (3) an invasion of the Middle East, as the October Surprise.
We don’t know at this point. All we know is what the Bible says of it in Daniel 8:4,and it doesn’t give us times.
Prepare.
Time is short.

Good Morning, Mark. Everything I read in The Kiplinger Letter, the magazine The Week, and watch on the Evening News Broadcasts on TV — indicate that you are right on track. But what I see CNBC and their reporting on the Stock Market — says otherwise. All the stock indexes were up. Oil was down $10.00 a barrel. The 10-year bond was down. I believe Wall investors are wrong — and you are RIGHT.
This morning a spotted a You Tube video I want to watch this evening. It featured Rabbi Jonathan Cahn. He spoke on … “Iran Prophecy Unfolding.” I don’t know for certain that he echoes your findings — but the title of the video suggests he does.
