The Second Signpost is the next major event on the Bible end-time prophecy timeline. It is derived directly from Scripture (ref. Dan. 7:5, 8:4; Rev. 6:4) as shown in Daniel Revisited.
We are told in Scripture that the world will lose its peace of mind (“take peace from the earth,” Rev. 6:4). People will want to scream due to the start of this very great Mideast war (Matt. 24:6). One major way Iran will cause the world to lose its peace is the shutting off of the Mideast oil spigot.
So how would our world be impacted when this happens? Why would it cause people to lose their minds? I write about this in Daniel Revisited chapter 10, and in this post. Up to one quarter of the world’s oil could be shut off, causing the price per barrel to spike into the hundreds of dollars.
This leads us to Gail Tverberg at Our Finite World, who wrote a thoughtful article on the topic of the impact of a loss of oil titled, “Ten Things that Change without Fossil Fuels.”
Gail wrote from the point of view of losing all the oil, and why oil is essential for our civilization. However, extrapolate from this article what might happen if oil is obtainable, just not all the time, and it could only be obtained at great expense.
As Gail wrote, governments could fail, with dictatorships becoming more common.
Banks would fail. Of course, the USA would also lose its petrodollar. Businesses would fail.
As I’ve mentioned before, the internet many not be available in all places. You might be the only Gospel messenger and the only Signpost watchman for your community.
Agriculture would be greatly impacted which of course leads to the famine during the Third Signpost.
Wood becomes a valued commodity. People will live in groups rather than by themselves.
Chaos is likely too.
These effects will plague the West (the Americas and Europe), the East Asian nations (other than China), and the Muslim realm. China and Russia will be relatively unaffected due to Russia’s oil (see this post).
Conclusion
Take all these things into consideration when preparing and asking God how to be a Joseph, if storing things.

THE FOUR SIGNPOSTS 
I keep thinking before Iran attacks mid east,there has to be an increase in the first seal judgment, Ryder on the White horse,a great peacekeeper or Messiah like figures rising up.

That already happened as part of the First Signpost. The horsemen are heralds of each of the four events. The first horseman was a leader wanting to conquer, who was the leader of the country of the First Signpost, Iraq. Its all written up in Chapter 9 of Daniel Revisited.

been thinking a lot on Iran’s coming attacks etc. I dont recall and even went to your book to see if you mentioned this, and this might sound odd but I keep thinking on the weather there. lol In reading Daniel 8 the first 3 verses we see Daniel is not physically in Susa but is there in spirit in the vision. I have wondered why Susa area and it hit me check the weather. ok hear me out. Is it possible knowing that Susa was the winter palace and the temps are moderate in winter, is it possible we have been told what time of year this will take place? For example, being on the border of Iraq and Iran that whole way west would be the easiest to start as the next is north, it is very cold and wintry going north at this time, and going south well, south is warm and hot.
so i prayed for understanding and why the fixation on weather. lol really stumped me at first. But it occurred to me logistically for armies and the vision Daniel seems to be there in winter, winter spring time period would actually make sense.

I think that shows some good thinking and insight.
Now, it really doesn’t matter whether he was there in person or in spirit, the point is, Susa is the staging ground. And it is the only place to stage an invasion from Iran.
However, that is another layer. Yes, it could very well be that God is telling us it will be a winter invasion. And I’ve always assumed Spring time for starts of war, like the First Signpost in 2003 started in March.
