Russia, Kaliningrad and WW3

(3 October 2026) After so many years of watching for the coming of the Second Signpost, it has arrived, as written about here, and in Daniel Revisited.

We have been watching the Iran War since February 28, and the “official” beginning of the Second Signpost on September 11.

Though the Four Signposts don’t seem to have set times, they tend to adhere to the seven-year Jewish calendar cycles.

Russia, WW3, and the Current Seven-Year Cycle

In this post from September 2022, I noted the significance of how the current seven-year cycle began September 25, 2022, and was during the election in which Russia annexed the four oblasts of eastern Ukraine.

I also wrote that since the start of the current cycle saw Russia handling its redline of making sure Russians in Europe did not become part of their enemy, namely, NATO, that it was possible WW3 could be the trigger of the Second Signpost.

Also, the middle of this current seven-year cycle was March 19, 2026, and saw an escalation in the Iran War leading to the Second Signpost.

In addition, September 11, 2026 saw the start of the Second Signpost. That was the day in the Jewish calendar that saw the start of Year 4 of the seven-year cycle.

Kaliningrad and WW3

Now, WW3 and the use of nuclear weapons got closer with the development of this story. European nations are talking about taking Kaliningrad away from Russia. Kaliningrad is a small enclave of Russian territory (see map) with about one million Russians living in it.

Kaliningrad (in dark green) is Russian territory.

Russia, in turn, said that if Europe tries to take Kaliningrad or even block Russian access to it, they will respond with every weapon in their arsenal including nuclear missiles. Here is an interesting op-ed about this.

Most Americans have never even heard of Kaliningrad.

Conclusion

I believe Western European leaders are insane or very evil. Why do they keep sending drones to Ukraine to destroy Russian diesel refineries? Why do they still want to attack and divide up Russia?

And now they feel empowered because they might succeed in taking tiny Kaliningrad. Russia’s army is several times larger than most European country’s armies, and Russia has many times the number of nuclear missiles.

Will the US participate? Will Russia lash out at Europe and perhaps the US?

In addition to Iran threatening Arab oil, and the US threatening an attack on Iran, now we have WW3 back in play.
